Case Management Expands to Georgetown

On August 5, Love INC of Mid-Delmarva marked an exciting milestone as community leaders, pastors, church partners, and ministry supporters gathered at First Baptist Church in Georgetown to pray over Love INC Case Manager Karen Selby as she begins serving the Georgetown community.

Those in attendance included Georgetown Mayor Angela Townsend, State Representative Valerie Giltnerr, Pastor Woody of First Baptist Church, Pastor John Betts of Abundant Life Church, along with congregation and team members from Crossroad Community Church and Discover Church. Together, they prayed for Karen, the families she will serve, and the partnerships that will make this new chapter possible.

Karen will lead Central Sussex case management from office space generously provided by First Baptist Church in Georgetown. This new location will make it easier for neighbors in Georgetown and the surrounding communities to connect with Love INC's services while strengthening relationships with local churches, businesses, and community partners.

Love INC's case management program goes beyond meeting immediate needs. Through personalized coaching, accountability, and ongoing support, neighbors are connected with local churches, community resources, and transformational programs that help them work toward lasting stability and independence.

The gathering reflected the collaborative spirit that makes Love INC's ministry possible. Church leaders, elected officials, volunteers, and community partners celebrated not only the opening of a new office, but also the opportunity to bring hope and practical support closer to those who need it most.

"Our mission is to mobilize local churches and businesses to transform lives and communities in the Name of Christ. It is amazing to see how our partnerships are allowing more neighbors to receive care through our system of accountability to make lasting change, all in Jesus' name," said Miguel Alban, Executive Director of Love INC.

As Love INC continues expanding its reach throughout Sussex County, this new Georgetown location represents another step toward ensuring that every neighbor has access to compassionate support, meaningful relationships, and a pathway toward lasting transformation.
