Ready to Serve: 17 Volunteers Step Forward
As Love INC continues to participate in community events throughout the region, we recognized a growing need for volunteers who could represent the ministry by staffing information tables, engaging with community members, and sharing the mission of Love INC at outreach events.
After discussing ways to engage volunteers who may not be able to commit to regular weekly or daily volunteer opportunities, we invited volunteers to express interest in serving as part of a new Community Outreach Team that would be available for future tabling events and community outreach opportunities as they arise.
The response was overwhelming. Within just a few hours of sending the email, 17 volunteers signed up to be part of the Community Outreach Team and expressed a willingness to represent Love INC at future community events.
This was such an encouragement and a reminder of God's faithfulness. Time and again, He provides exactly what is needed for the work ahead. Seeing so many people eager to serve our neighbors and share the mission of Love INC before any events were even announced was a tremendous blessing.
We are excited to begin building this team and look forward to connecting with more people throughout our community in the months ahead.
