How Regina Rebuilt Hope for Her Family

Single mother of three, Regina shares her journey from instability to finding a place to finally call home. A story of hope, perseverance, and lasting change.

Because of a community that chooses to walk alongside neighbors in need, another family now has a place to call home.

We are celebrating Regina and her three children as they persisted to find stability through hard work and determination.

After being displaced from the mobile home they had lived in for eight years, Regina and her children faced an uncertain future. Financial hardship and mounting challenges forced them to leave their home, and while family graciously opened their doors temporarily, Regina knew she needed a stable place for her children to grow and thrive.

When Regina entered Love INC’s Case Management program, she committed fully to the process. Together with her Case Manager, she worked through housing applications, budgeting, savings goals, and financial obstacles standing in the way of stability.

Eight housing applications later, Regina received the call she had been praying for.

Along the journey, she paid off an old utility debt, saved enough to cover all of her move-in expenses independently, and continued building toward long-term stability for her family.

But the transformation didn’t stop with housing. During this season, Regina’s oldest daughter reenrolled in school, started a new job, and gave her life to the Lord through baptism. Seeds of hope were taking root across the entire family.

On May 5th, Regina officially moved into her apartment. Members of the Love INC team had the privilege of visiting her new home, bringing starter household items, praying over the family, and celebrating this new beginning together.

Regina shared that Love INC “showed up at the right time.”

Stories like Regina’s remind us that lasting change happens through relationships, accountability, and communities willing to stand in the gap.

Thank you for being part of that story. Because of supporters like you, families are moving from crisis to stability, and from uncertainty to hope.
