Support Found in Love INC

When Meleda first connected with Love INC of Mid-Delmarva, she was facing one of the hardest seasons of her life. After the passing of her father, she found herself living in a hotel with her children, unsure of where to turn next. That’s when someone shared the name Love In the Name of Christ — and she found the support she desperately needed.

Over the past year, Meleda has worked closely with Love INC and has been an active participant in several of our Transformational Ministry programs. She enrolled in the Affirming Potential class, completed a financial course, and built a strong relationship with her case manager, Margaret, through ongoing case management.

Throughout her journey, Meleda has remained dedicated — consistently attending her meetings, staying engaged, and working hard to achieve her goals. Her commitment and determination have led to real progress. One of her greatest accomplishments has been eliminating a significant amount of debt. With the guidance and encouragement of a financial mentor and case management, she’s made empowered choices for herself and her family, taking bold steps toward long-term stability.

Today, Meleda is filled with gratitude — not just for how far she’s come, but for the people who have walked alongside her. She has stated how meaningful it is to know that churches, volunteers, and local businesses are working together to bring hope to families like hers.
