Seventy Doors Opened and More to Come

There are moments when a number becomes more than a number. It becomes a story, a turning point, a quiet miracle unfolding in real time. 

This is one of those moments.

Love INC of Mid-Delmarva is celebrating a powerful milestone: our 70th neighbor has moved from homelessness to stable housing. But behind that number is a real person, a real journey, and a reminder of what’s possible when a community refuses to look away. 

This story is not just about one person. It’s about what happens when churches and businesses unite, when partners step in, and when people like you choose to be part of something bigger. 

For this neighbor, the journey wasn’t instant. She spent a year in our transitional housing program, putting in the quiet, daily work of rebuilding stability. Step by step, she leaned into accountability, developed consistent routines, and worked toward long-term independence. In time, that steady effort opened the door to a place of her own, a space marked not just by housing, but by hard-earned stability.

Every prayer, every dollar given, every volunteer hour offered, ripples outward into stories like this one.  

This is the heartbeat of Love INC, a network of churches, businesses, and individuals working together in the name of Christ to meet real needs with real solutions through accountability. Not just quick fixes, but lasting change. 

This milestone belongs to all of us.
